Healthy snack ideas for summer

Here are some healthy summer snack ideas for you and your children: 

 - Fresh fruit

- Homemade smoothies (look up recipes online and have your kids help make them)

- Frozen fruit bars

- Veggies and low-fat dip

- Mini bagels with low-fat cream cheese; top with sliced fruit or veggies

- Celery and natural peanut butter

- Crackers with low-fat cheese or natural peanut butter

- Low-fat string cheese

- Trail mix with dried fruit and nuts

- Hummus and vegetables or pita bread

- Baked tortilla chips and salsa

- Cottage cheese and fruit

- Vanilla yogurt drizzled over berries
