Hooker became the first Sycamore boys track athlete in more than 30 years to win a state title by taking first in the Class 2A 200 meters. He also finished in sixth in the 100 and won sectional titles in both events.
Dubrick finished in 11th place in the 3,200 in Class 3A. He also won the 1,600 and 3,200 at the Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference meet and set a new school record in the 3,200.
Carter (back right) was a big part of Kaneland's Class 2A state champion 4x800 relay and second-place 4x400 relay. He posted the fastest Class 2A time in the 800 this season, but chose to run in the Knights' relays at sectional and state.
Emmert finished fifth in the Class 2A 800 at state. Emmert also helped Sycamore's 4x800 team to a state berth by running the anchor leg at sectional.
Kucera finished ninth in the Class 2A 400 and was part of Kaneland's 4x400 and 4x800 relays. His anchor leg in the 4x800 sealed the state championship for the Knights.
