Tornado watch issued through 8 p.m.

DeKalb County is under a tornado watch tonight until 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The county also is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 5:15 p.m.

DeKalb County is one of 61 counties in the state under this watch, as severe weather continues to batter the midwest this week. The potential for isolated tornadoes does exist.
