Letter: Keep IRS, Benghazi issues at forefront

Published: Saturday, May 18, 2013 5:30 a.m. CST

To the Editor:

We were disappointed to see that the Benghazi hearings only made page 5 and the big IRS scandal related to the investigation of conservative groups only made page 6 of Saturday’s Chronicle. Neither was even mentioned in Monday’s paper.

We feel it is the press’s job to keep the public informed about these incidents so that a “Benghazi” never happens again and that the IRS is not allowed to become the political arm of either party.
