Serve It Safely seminar planned

Does your club, church or organization raise funds by holding community dinners, bake sales, bazaars or other food events? If so, you won’t want to miss the Serve It Safely seminar.The seminar will focus on preparing, storing, and serving food for public consumption safely and will include a take-home manual.

Cost for the seminar is $10 for the first person from an organization and $5 for each additional person.

Marilyn Csernus will present the Serve It Safely seminar from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 10 at the DeKalb County Extension Office, 1350 W. Prairie Drive, Sycamore.

Register by calling the DeKalb County Extension Office at 815-758-8194 or online at http://web.extension.illinois.edu/bdo. Class size is limited and the deadline for registration is June 5.
