Kishwaukee College will host two free screenings of the documentary “Wired” on Friday.

The film will be shown from noon to 2 p.m. in the Student Lounge located in the Student Center and again from 6 to 8 p.m. in Jenkins Auditorium at the college. The documentary’s producer and director, Sheila Lahey, will be at both screenings and available for questions afterwards. This event is free and open to the public.

“Wired” is a compilation of stories and memories as told by 57 residents of DeKalb representing every decade from 8 to 92 years of age. The film traces the history of DeKalb and illustrates the contributions of the citizens of DeKalb and the powerful legacy they created and maintain.
