Kishwaukee College will offer a free workshop for local entrepreneurs and inventors from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Room A-415 at the college to assist them in preparation for the Stateline FastPitch Competition. The FastPitch Competition will be held June 19 at Northern Illinois University – Rockford, 8500 E. State St..

The Stateline FastPitch Competition is an opportunity for local entrepreneurs and inventors to “pitch” their ideas to a judging panel of local business and industry leaders.  Each contestant has three minutes to answer six basic questions for the panel.

KC Instructor Mark Schwendau is offering the free workshop to explain the FastPitch process and give tips to community members of the KC district who may be interested in participating.

For more information, contact Schwendau at 815-825-2086, ext. 3480, or mark.schwendau@kishwaukeecollege.edu.
