AURORA – Aurora police didn't find anything suspicious after doing a building-to-building search of the Aurora University campus after the school received more than one bomb threat Wednesday morning.
"Nothing suspicious has been found," Aurora police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said. Aurora University campus classes remain canceled for the day.
The campus was evacuated starting around 8:40 a.m., Ferrelli said. The building-to-building search is being done with AU Campus Public Safety and K-9 units from the Kane County Sheriff's Department, he said.
Aurora University announced on its Twitter feed that it had received a generic bomb threat that it was treating as real. The threats came by e-mail, Ferrelli said.
