KIRKLAND – Two people were taken to OSF Saint Anthony's Medical Center in Rockford after a single-car rollover crash northwest of Kirkland late Saturday.

Lauren L. Leffelman, 18, of Kirkland, was driving a 2002 Pontiac Coupe at Irene and McNeal roads about 11:50 p.m. Saturday when she was involved in an accident, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. Leffelman and a juvenile passenger were taken to the hospital.

Leffelman was not at the hospital Monday afternoon, a nursing supervisor said. No tickets were issued in connection with the crash, police said.
