Kirkland sets candidate’s night

The 2013 Kirkland candidate’s night will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Kirkland Fire Station.

The first part of the session will have questions for the mayoral candidates and village board candidates. The second half of the program will feature questions for school board candidates, library board members and any other boards.

Each candidate will be given up to three minutes to introduce themselves and why the individual is running for office. Verbal attacks on other candidates by people running for the boards will not be allowed during the question-and-answer period. Questions will come from the moderator and will not be given to the candidates for the different boards in advance of the session.
