Minor injuries reported in Maple Park crash

MAPLE PARK – Two passengers were treated at Kishwaukee Community Hospital after a driver told police he crashed into a tree because of the fog Sunday.

Harry Nyemah Jr., 23, of Milwaukee, was driving east on Gurler Road about 6 p.m. Sunday when his 2007 Toyota Prius overshot the intersection at Hinckley Road and crashed into a tree, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

Two passengers, a 19-year-old Zion man and a 22-year-old Carol Stream woman, were treated at and released from the hospital.
