The front-page story in Friday’s Daily Chronicle about the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce Candidates’ Night contained two errors.

• District 428 school board candidate Vickie Hernan-Faivre is a member of the district’s finance and facilities advisory committee. Candidate Victoria Newport is a member of the district’s finance and facilities advisory committee, a group of community leaders and school officials considering ways the district can cut costs.

• District 428 candidate Marilyn Parker’s quote in the story contained an incorrect word. Parker said, “I will be the voice for the students, faculty and staff of our schools, and I intend, if I am elected ... to be that voice for our parents, students and faculty members. And I will be heard.”
