Alaskan cruise benefits Midwest Museum
Limited space is still available for those who want to see Alaska and the natural wonders of great Northwest and also help the Midwest Museum of Natural History during a spring cruise to Alaska, May 11 to 19.
MMNH has teamed up with Holland American Line and Carder Travel for an opportunity to experience some of the natural and historic treasures of Alaska, and each ticket sold will include a tax-deductible donation to the museum. Reservations are being accepted for the seven-day cruise that will depart on May 11.
The trip begins with an included transfer from DeKalb to O’Hare International Airport for a flight to Seattle. There the group will enjoy a pre-cruise night to explore Seattle. Next, they will board the ms Oosterdam and cruise Puget Sound, Glacier Bay and visit Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan and Victoria, British Columbia.
