Stage Coach to audition for radio show event

Published: Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 5:30 a.m. CST

Stage Coach Players’ 2013 Radio Show, directed by Barbara Andree, will feature two engaging detectives: Nick Danger (Third Eye) and Harry Nile.

Harry Nile’s “The Case of the Dueling Divas” pits two operatic sopranos, a baritone, a stagehand and an understudy against each other in a web of dirty tricks that Harry has to sort out. (No singing will be necessary).

“The Further Adventures of Nick Danger (Third Eye)” an irreverent parody of the Sam Spade or Phillip Marlow detective shows. There are lots of sound effects and crazy jokes that will leave the audience in stitches.

Auditions for both productions will be held during Stage Coach Players’ Spring/Summer 2013 Season Auditions this weekend. The director seeks 10 men and six women of various ages. Performances will be April 13.

Auditions will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 511 Russell Road, DeKalb.
