Ace or near ace, Sale ready to start for Sox

GLENDALE, Ariz. – White Sox left-hander Chris Sale is more than ready for this season.

He went to the All-Star game last year and pitched 192 innings. He finished sixth in the Cy Young Award voting after going 17-8 with a 3.05 ERA.

When he spoke up about a tender elbow, the Sox acted swiftly by moving him to the bullpen. Sale talked his way back into the rotation.
