Winter Weather Advisory set for Thursday evening

DeKalb County is under a winter weather advisory starting 8 p.m. Thursday and continuing through 6 p.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow is expected to develop Thursday evening and continue into Friday, with a total of 3 to 5 inches expected. Heavy snowfall rates of an inch per hour are possible late Thursday evening into the overnight hours.

Drivers should be prepared for difficult traveling conditions and limited visibilities late Thursday into Friday.
