DeKalb. Co. Sheriff offers student scholarship

DeKalb County Sheriff Roger Scott will award a $500 scholarship to a permanent DeKalb County resident through the Illinois Sheriff’s Association.

Scholarships must be used at Illinois institutions of higher learning, and the winner must be enrolled full time during the 2013-2014 school year, excluding the summer session. Students must complete the application and essay questions and return them to the sheriff’s office, 150 N. Main St., Sycamore, but March 15.
