Police are reporting cars in ditches and minor crashes on the roads today while snow has led to poor driving conditions in DeKalb County.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for DeKalb County that began at 2 this afternoon and has now been extended through midnight.

Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are possible, with the highest amounts north of Interstate 88.

Heavy snow could reduce visibilities to under a mile at times during the evening commute.
