Motor development program offered at NIU

A physical development program carefully designed for children ages 3 to 6 is open to community children.

The program offers developmentally appropriate physical activities to promote skill development and an active and healthy lifestyle, through an integrative approach with early childhood curricular concepts, and children’s interests. It also offers swimming activities, and activities in contact with nature.

The program is offered through Northern Illinois University’s Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education. The program will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays from Feb. 11 to April 10 at Anderson Hall, Room 13.
