DeKalb woman pleads guilty to burglary

SYCAMORE – A DeKalb woman was sentenced to probation after stealing from a neighbor in May and September.

Amy Williams, 34, of the 400 block of Haish Boulevard in DeKalb, pleaded guilty Thursday to burglary after stealing prescription medication and jewelry from a neighbor last year. Williams was sentenced to 97 days in county jail but released for time served.

Williams must attend a drug treatment program and is on probation for 30 months.
