PREP ROUNDUP: Bonnell doesn’t advance

Sycamore junior Kyle Bonnell had a round of 1,219 in the first round of the IHSA bowling state tournament in O’Fallon. Bonnell finished Friday’s action in 67th place, and will not move on to today’s action. Bonnell had a high game of 232.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Cogs get win: Genoa-Kingston beat North Boone, 72-48. Adam Price led the Cogs with 20 points, while Mason Lucca had 17 and Tommy Lucca added 14.

“[Price]’s just been a load all year,” G-K coach Corey Jenkins said. “He’s averaging 18 points, 11 rebounds a game right now.”
