DeKALB – DeKalb police are searching for suspects in a knifepoint robbery Sunday at Casey’s General Store at 1001 N. Annie Glidden Road.

At 6:15 p.m., a man entered the convenience store, displayed a knife and demanded money from a clerk, DeKalb police Sgt. Bob Redel said. The man, described as tall and white with a thin build, was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored jacket, and a dark bandanna over his face.

After getting the money, the man ran out of the store and went south on Annie Glidden Road, Redel said.

Police are reviewing security camera footage from nearby stores to see if they show where he ran or if he got into a car.

Redel declined to say how much money was taken or how long the knife was. No one was injured in the robbery.

Anyone with information about the robbery can contact DeKalb police at 815-748-8400 or contact Crime Stoppers at 815-895-3272 or
