DeKALB – A 57-year-old Chicago man was injured Thursday in a single vehicle accident on Route 38 east of Peace Road.

William McMahon was driving east about 1:20 p.m. when his vehicle drifted into the oncoming lane and overturned, coming to rest on the north side of the road, according to a DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office news release. DeKalb paramedics took him to Kishwaukee Community Hospital with minor injuries, the release stated.

McMahon, of the 10500 block of Drake Avenue, was charged with improper lane use.
