To the Editor:

As one way of minimizing the number of weapons threatening even the precious lives of our most vulnerable school children, would Shaw Media and the Daily Chronicle be willing to forswear carrying further ads for all manner of weapons, including highly automatic ones? 

I was startled on several occasions to see such large ads in our local paper. It would be a real service to the community for you to sacrifice whatever revenue you realize from carrying such ads, and I am sure many other subscribers would join me in thanking you for taking this step.
