Cortland woman died in SUV rollover accident

SYCAMORE - A 47-year-old Cortland woman died after rolling her 1998 Oldsmobile Bravada about 3 p.m. Wednesday east of DeKalb.



Jodine M. Gamble, of the 100 block of West Chestnut Avenue, was driving east on Barber Greene Road about a tenth of a mile east of Loves Road when she lost control of her vehicle, DeKalb County Sheriff's police said in a news release. She was not wearing her seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle, police said.



Sycamore paramedics transported her to Kishwaukee Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Sheriff's police and DeKalb County Coroner Dennis Miller are continuing to investigate the accident.
