Associate judges selected in the 23rd

A Sycamore attorney is among the two people selected as associate judges for the 23rd Judicial Circuit.

The circuit judges selected Bradley J. Waller, of Klein, Stoddard, Buck, Waller & Lewis in Sycamore, and Stephen J. Krentz, of Krentz & Salfisberg in Plano. The pair fill vacancies created when judge Kurt Klein retired and when Melissa Barnhart, an associate judge, became a circuit judge.

Waller earned his undergraduate degree in 1985 and his juris doctorate in 1988, both from Northern Illinois University, according to a news release. Krentz received his undergraduate degree in 1987 and his juris doctorate in 1990, both from Valparaiso University in Indiana. The 23rd Judicial Circuit includes DeKalb and Kendall counties.
