Turnover problems too much for DeKalb's boys basketball
DeKALB – The DeKalb boys basketball team turned the ball over 10 times in the first quarter of Friday’s Chuck Dayton Tournament opener against Winnebago.
The Barbs were able to stay with the Indians throughout the first half, but in the end, the turnover problems were just too much to overcome against a team which came into the contest unbeaten as Winnebago pulled away in the second half for an 81-53 win.
Turnovers have been a problem for the Barbs (1-9) in recent games, and DeKalb finished with 27 turnovers Friday night.
