Alaskan cruise benefits Midwest Museum

Those who have always wanted to see Alaska and the natural wonders of great Northwest can realize that dream and also help the Midwest Museum of Natural History during next spring’s cruise to Alaska, May 11 to 19.

The museum has teamed up with Holland American Line and Carder Travel for an opportunity to experience some of the natural and historic treasures of Alaska, and each ticket sold will include a tax-deductible donation to the museum. Reservations are now being accepted for the seven-day cruise.

The trip will begin with an included transfer from DeKalb to O’Hare International Airport for a flight to Seattle. There the group will enjoy a pre-cruise night to explore Seattle. Next, they will board the ms Oosterdam and cruise Puget Sound, Glacier Bay and visit Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan and Victoria, British Columbia.
