Letter: Respect funeral processions

Published: Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 5:30 a.m. CDT

To the Editor:

Maybe you were on your way to lunch, it was noon. Or maybe school, you looked very young. Or was it work? Bosses never understand.

I think the semi driver was stopped (pulled to side of road) to show his respect. As many did. His lane (yours) ended, merged into ours.

In the far right lane you need to make a left turn. A simple signal would have helped you. Not a honk and angry look. My car has all four fenders and no dents. Amazing, yours does, too.

I know funerals on the way to lay our friends and family to rest are a real pain. But someday it could be your family or friend.
