Letter: Dog-saving surgery inspires effort to pay it forward
To the Editor:
I am writing this letter in the spirit of Christmas giving. I would like to put out a challenge to all of the people in our local area. I challenge you to give a little, to pay it forward.
How could you do this? Maybe pay for the parking meters around your parking spot. Pay for the person behind you at Starbucks. Give some food to a food pantry. Invite a lonely widow or over for coffee. It is not always about money. Paying it forward is an act of kindness.
