Kishwaukee College seeks a new trustee

MALTA – Kishwaukee College is looking to fill a vacancy on its board of trustees. Mark Pietrowski Jr. resigned this month to focus on his responsibilities as a DeKalb County Board member.

Pietrowski was more than halfway through his six-year term on the Kishwaukee College board when he was elected to the DeKalb County Board from District 3 in November. His successor will fill the remainder of his term, which ends in April 2015.

Those interested in the position must be 18 years old, a U.S. citizen and a resident of District 523 for a minimum of one year. Applications, which are available at kishwaukeecollege.edu, must be submitted by 3 p.m. Jan. 2.
