Danica R. Henry of DeKalb was one of two students honored with speaking at Millikin University’s 2012 Winter Commencement ceremony. Henry received a Bachelor of Music degree in Commercial Music with a Theatre minor.

Millikin University honored approximately 100 graduates at the 2012 Winter Commencement ceremony on Sunday in the Kirkland Fine Arts Center. Graduates from Millikin’s traditional undergraduate program, evening degree completion program, and the Master of Science in Nursing program were honored during the ceremony.

In addition to Henry, Katherine A. Price was another honored student speaker. The honorable N. Duane Noland, former senator and representative emeritus trustee, delivered the commencement address. The ceremony also featured musical performances by the Les Quatre String Quartet, directed by Professor Georgia Hornbacker, and the Millikin Chamber Chorale, directed by Dr. Guy Forbes.
