Waubonsee faculty member publishes work

“Eve Dreams,” a poem by Waubonsee Community College associate professor of English Billy Clem, of DeKalb, is included in the recently published “Adrienne Rich: A Tribute Anthology.”

“(Adrienne) Rich, whose work I teach in Multicultural Literature and Women’s Literature, was a publishing U.S. feminist poet for more than 60 years, and her importance to world literatures and women’s studies is immense and profound,” Clem said in a news release.

“I have admired Rich’s poetry and poetics in all their manifestations since I was a young college student, and being able to write and publish something to honor her life, work and legacy is a privilege,” he said.
