Shaw Media names Rung chief operating officer
John Rung, senior vice president at Shaw Media, has been named the company’s chief operating officer, effective Jan. 1.
Shaw Media owns and operates the Daily Chronicle.
Rung, 50, also is publisher of the Shaw Media’s Northwest Herald in Crystal Lake. He has been with the company for 16 years in a number of positions.
