The speedy point guard scored 17 points and had three second-quarter steals against Hiawatha to help the Royals jump out to a 23-1 lead in a 63-18 win.
Madden would have been an integral piece for the Royals last season, but a stress fracture limited her to the first four games of the season and the playoffs. Now, she’s one of the most crucial players on a relatively young team.
