Stage Coach holding playwriting contest

Stage Coach Players of DeKalb is accepting submissions for its second original playwriting contest.

The contest is intended to showcase the writing talents of Illinois residents with the winning scripts to be considered for future production.

The winning entrant in the full-length category and the winning entrant in the radio play category will be considered for production during Stage Coach’s 2014 and 2015 seasons.

There is no entry fee, but authors must be residents of Illinois. All genres are welcome. Script entries must be unpublished, unproduced, and be original scripts.

The contest opens Jan. 1 and scripts must be postmarked by March 15.
