Federated Kids’ Club presents ‘Polar Express’

On Sunday morning, the Kids’ Club from The Federated Church in Sycamore will put on their version of “The Polar Express,” a play about visiting the North Pole, believing in Santa Claus, and the special sound of the sleigh bells.

The play will take place during the regular 10 a.m. worship service. The chancel choir will sing “Go Tell It On The Mountain” while the “train” circles through the sanctuary, and the handbell choir, masquerading as reindeer, will play “The Carol of the Bells.” What happens when the boy discovers a hole in his pocket – the very pocket where he stashed a very special bell? Come find out this Sunday.

Federated Church is located at 612 W. State St., with parking available behind the building, off of Greeley Street.
