Letter: Don't believe county judges are biased

To the Editor:

I am a retired attorney. I practiced in DeKalb County for almost 20 years.

In April, I spoke to the DeKalb County Domestic Violence CourtWatch about my experiences and answered questions. I was surprised and distressed when my remarks were summarized such as they were in a submitted article on page C3 of Saturday's Daily Chronicle.  

I did not and would not characterize our judges in DeKalb County as biased or inattentive. CourtWatch provides a valuable service, but I do not believe that our judges would serve with less dedication and honor without its presence.
