Senior giving tree in DeKalb seeks donations

DeKALB – The Family Service Agency has a senior giving tree with ornaments corresponding to gifts requested for area seniors in need, according to a news release.

Ornaments are available at the Citizens First National Bank, 327 West Main St. in Genoa, or at Family Service Agency, 14 Health Services Drive in DeKalb. Gifts will be distributed Friday.

Last year, the senior giving tree benefited 118 people, which was more than double the 2010 list, the news release states. For more information, call the Family Service Agency’s Senior Services Department at 815-758-4718.
