Drug court graduation today

SYCAMORE – The DeKalb County drug and driving under the influence court will hold its ninth graduation ceremony today at 6 p.m., according to a news release.

Each graduate will talk to the audience about their experiences in the court diversion program, which dismisses or reduces criminal charges in exchange for defendants working toward sobriety, earning a GED, and getting a job.

Tom Inboden, of Inboden's Meats Ltd., will receive the Friend of Drug/DUI Court Award, and Nick Gaeke, a prosecutor with the Kane County Juvenile and Adult Drug Court, will give a presentation entitled "Before and After: Always a Hero."
