St. George to hold shopping fundraiser

St. George Greek Orthodox Church will hold a Christmas Shopping Fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church, 320 S. Second St., DeKalb.

Participating vendors include Lia Sophia, Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, York Candles and Tupperware. The event will feature complimentary wine and cheese, and is sponsored by the women of Anagenesis Philoptochos.

St. George Greek Orthodox Church’s fundraisers help several local organizations, including DeKalb County Nursing Home, DeKalb County Hospice, Opportunity House, We Care Pregnancy Center, Turkey Talk, Freezing for Food, Safe Passage, CASA and Hope Haven.
