SANDWICH –The Sandwich High School Post Prom Committee is looking for formal dresses to sell at a consignment dress sale and fundraiser.

The committee will be accepting items for the sale from noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 13 and from 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 14 to Jan. 16, according to a news release.

The items should have been worn to an event within the past four years and be in clean condition.

The seller pays $5 a dress as a handling fee at drop-off. The seller sets the price, with 70 percent of the price going to the seller and 30 percent going to the committee. The committee uses the funds for Sandwich High School’s post-prom activities.

The sale will be Jan. 17 through Jan. 20 at Best Western Timber Creek Inn & Suites, 3300 Drew Ave., Sandwich. Dresses that do not sell can be picked up Jan. 21 and Jan. 22 or donated to girls who cannot afford a prom dress.
