DeKALB - A squirrel on the power lines caused about 20 locations in DeKalb's Sycamore Road area to lose power Wednesday afternoon.

Businesses in the 1400 block of Sycamore Road and the surrounding area lost power for about 30 minutes starting at 12:30 p.m., ComEd spokesman Paul Callighan said. The area includes Jewel-Osco and the Secretary of State's office.
