Bank adviser to speak at Farm Bureau on Jan. 17

SYCAMORE – The DeKalb County Economic Development Corp. is accepting reservations through Dec. 21 for a program with a senior economist.

William A. Strauss, an economic adviser for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, will speak at the DeKalb County Farm Bureau on Jan. 17, according to a news release. Lunch begins at 11 a.m., with the hourlong program starting at noon.

Organizers expect the event will sell out, so walk-ins will not be accepted. Car pooling is encouraged. Tickets are $40 for members of the DCEDC and $55 for nonmembers. For more information, call 815-895-2711.
