Christmas Tree Walk planned at Oak Crest

The 18th Annual Christmas Tree Walk and Open House will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at Oak Crest DeKalb Area Retirement Center.

Visitors will see 28 trees and rooms decorated in a variety of themes at 2944 Greenwood Acres Drive, DeKalb. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will visit with children and pass out cookies and candy canes, and Mickey and Pooh Bear will greet visitors at the health center.

Oak Crest King and Queen Dick and Lou Cole will greet guests, and the DeKalb High School Madrigal Singers will perform at 1:30 p.m., with the Northern Illinois cello ensemble performing at 2:30 p.m. and the Rayitos Del Sol of Conexion Comunidad performing at
3:30 p.m.
