KSO schedules holiday concert

Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra invites the public to its Holiday Pops Concert: Winter Wonderland at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 at Boutell Memorial Concert Hall in the Northern Illinois University Music Building, DeKalb.

The traditional family concert will feature many holiday favorites, including Haydn’s Toy Symphony and a seasonal sing-along. This performance is sponsored in part by the George and Betty Dutton Foundation.

The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra is a nonprofit community orchestra that provides a place for area musicians to use their talents in an orchestral setting. The orchestra consists of professional, student, and dedicated amateur musicians.
