Sandwich chamber hosts dog behavior seminar

As part of the Sandwich Area Chamber of Commerce’s educational series, Lanette Yingling, owner of Mid-Day Play Pet Services will host a free presentation on dog behavior titled, “From The Dog’s Perspective.”

The discussion will be led by Yingling and Angela Murray, owner of Nurture Your Pets. The event will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Fox Valley Community Center, 1406 Suydam Road, Sandwich.

After the presentation, Murray and Yingling will answer questions that attendees may have about their own dog.

Murray is a certified professional dog trainer and has been working with dogs for more than 20 years. She will speak about how dogs communicate with each other and with us, how we can read our dogs better and how dogs view their environment.

Yingling founded Mid-Day Play Pet Services two years ago. The company provides dog walking, pet sitting, in-home boarding and private swimming in the summer.

The presentation is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are appreciated by Saturday. For more information, contact the chamber at 815-312-4963 or info@sandwich-il.org.
