CHICAGO – Travelers heading home after Thanksgiving say it’s been smooth and hassle-free in the Chicago area with good weather for travel.
The Greyhound station near downtown Chicago was packed Sunday.
Leonard Reddick was waiting for his bus back to Flint, Mich. The 29-year-old says he liked the cheap fares at $84 a roundtrip and traveled Thanksgiving Day so that there’d be fewer crowds. Meanwhile, Malron Murray had arrived back in Chicago from Atlanta where he’d been visiting his daughter. He says the bus wasn’t too crowded.
Both of Chicago’s airports reported normal operations Sunday with no delays at O’Hare or Midway international airports.
