Robert J. Staats and Heather A Vierig of Sycamore announce the birth of a son, Kayden Mohegan Staats, born Nov. 11, 2012, at Kishwaukee Community Hospital, DeKalb. He weighed 9 pounds, 14 ounces.

Grandparents are James P. Vierig of South Elgin, Tina Zemzemi of Sycamore and Wanda Hayes of DeKalb.

Great-grandparents are Jewel Staats of DeKalb, Shirley White of Sycamore and Paul White of Sycamore.
