Nominating petitions available for DeKalb Park District

DeKALB – The DeKalb Park District will accept nomination petitions for the April election from Dec. 17 to Dec. 24.

There are three seats available on the board of commissioners. Two terms are six years and end in 2019, and one is two years and ends in 2015, according to a news release.

Petitions must be filed at the administrative office at 1403 Sycamore Road from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. For more information, call 815-758-6663 and ask for the executive director.
